Actor and Comedian, Kenneth Nkosi, has expressed shock and sadness following ‘The River’ star, Presley Chweneyagae’s death.

Nkosi played the role of Aap in the 2005 film ‘Tsotsi’ alongside lead actor Chweneyagae.

The movie won the 2006 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film and was nominated for the Golden Globe’s Best Foreign Language Film in the same year.

Nkosi says he was in good health when they spoke a few days ago and that the industry has lost a great actor with a heart of gold.

He says, “It was quite a shocker because I just had a conversation with him last week Thursday. He was even at my house and we had a drink or two with friends and myself. So it’s quite sad, he was a young man, very young in the industry. So he was just an amazing actor, who threw himself into the character when he was given the task. He was respectful and humble, and generous as an actor and funny too. He was a funny young man.”
