The murder trial against a 53-year-old man accused of killing seven members of his family on Christmas Day in 2021 has been postponed to next week in the Thohoyandou High Court, sitting at Waterval Magistrates Court, in Limpopo.

Enoch Ndou allegedly shot and killed his seven relatives at Jim Jones village outside Malamulele in December 2021. The shooting is believed to have followed a dispute over the ownership of the Ndou family house.

A bleak Christmas Day for the Ndou family in Limpopo as 7 members shot and killed 25 DEC 2021:

The case has been postponed due to the unavailability of Judge Thogomelani Tshidada.

Judge Tshidada is committed in a civil matter.

Meanwhile, more than seven state witnesses have already testified thus far.

The deceased include Donald Ndou, Ndivhuwo Ndou, one-year-old Wanga, four-year-old Ronewa, eight-year-old Dakalo, 12-year-old Rendani alongside 37-year-old Portia Mabasa.

All perished on that fatal Christmas night. Donald and Ndivhuwo were Ndou’s nephews.
