The Free State High Court has dismissed with costs former Premier Ace Magashule’s personal assistant Moroadi Cholota’s application to have her arrest declared unlawful and unconstitutional.
She sought to have her fraud and corruption charges withdrawn.
The 37-year-old is facing charges relating to the R255 million asbestos roof removal contract scandal.
The application was heard in the high court in November last year.
Cholota was arrested in the United States earlier last year and extradited to South Africa in August.
She is out on bail of R2 000.
The other co-accused in the matter include former Mangaung Mayor Olly Mlamleli, Magashule and businessman Edwin Sodi.
