Ahead of the much-anticipated Soweto derby, Kaizer Chiefs have announced three new signings in a bid to turn their fortunes around.
Chiefs are fifth on the Betway Premiership log with six wins from 14 games, but 12 points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have two games in hand.
To fill the void, Amakhosi have signed Thabo Cele, Tashreeq Morris and Glody Makabi Lilepo one day before the January transfer window closes.
Cele joins Amakhosi after being released by his Russian club FC Fakel Voronezh last week.
Morris, who was on the books of SuperSport United, has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal with Amakhosi, while striker Christian Saile joins Matsatsantsa in a swap deal.
Congolese international Lilepo joins from French side Valenciennes FC and will be available for selection once his work permit is approved.
