Chief Simphiwe Zuma is expected to learn of the outcome of his bail application in the Howick Magistrates court today.
Chief Simphiwe Zuma, charged with the murder of Democratic Alliance chief whip, Nhlalayenza Ndlovu, has been denied bail by the Howick Magistrates’ Court.
Ndlovu, who was a councillor in the DA-led uMngeni Local Municipality, was gunned down at his home in Mphophomeni in 2023.
Zuma is also facing murder charges in two other separate cases.
Zuma from the Nxamalala Tribal Authority was arrested by the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) in July.
