Airports company, ACSA says check-in at the OR Tambo International Airport may be delayed due to a global technical issue affecting all check-in systems.

It has advised passengers to arrive earlier than usual to make room for possible delays.

In a public statement, the airport says check-in processes may take longer than usual. It says technicians are actively working to resolve the matter, but there’s no estimated time for resolution yet.

The statement also said while airlines are using back systems to keep flights on schedule, passengers are advised to download the ACSA mobile app for live flight updates or alternatively, they can contact their airlines directly.
