Businessman Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala is expected to continue his bail application in the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg on Monday.
During his previous court appearance, he denied being part of a plot to kill his former partner, Tebogo Thobejane in October 2023.
Matlala faces charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and money laundering.
He is alleged to have ordered a hit on Thobejane.
The car she was travelling in was shot at in Sandton, Johannesburg.
Last week, the court heard that Matlala has a fraudulent Eswatini identity card under the name Vusimuzi Dlamini.
The state argued that this makes him a flight risk.
