Case of suspects in KwaMashu hostel shooting postponed

The case of three men who appeared briefly at the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court in KwaMashu has been postponed to November 25th.

The suspects are facing multiple charges including murder, attempted murder and robbery.

They were arrested after they were seen in a video on social media, brandishing firearms and shooting randomly at the KwaMashu hostel.

Police have confirmed that an identity parade will be held on Thursday.

NPA spokesperson in KwaZulu-Natal, Natasha Ramkisson-Kara says, “Three men appeared at Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court on several charges of robbery with aggravating circumstances and for several counts of murder. The offences are alleged to have taken place between February 2024 and October 2024 in KwaMashu.”
