Benches inside of a court.
A 27-year-old man accused of killing a rape victim in the case involving a self-proclaimed pastor, had his case postponed to Tuesday next week in the Mutale Magistrates’ Court outside Thohoyandou in Limpopo.
The accused, Andani Madzhie, has been charged with the murder of Ndinainwi Mabuke at Thengwe village last month.
The 26-year-old Mabuke was killed before she could testify in the rape trial against Phathutshedzo Sikhuba, popularly known as prophet Muritho. Madzhie has been remanded in custody.
Meanwhile, rights organisation, Men Equality Alliance, wants police to arrest the mastermind behind the murder of a rape victim.
Organisation spokesperson is Nakisani Silimela, says, “We are not happy about what the police are doing. I think they need to arrest all of them. That guy is very young. He can’t do it alone and it seems there is somebody who sent him. So, we want that person to be arrested.”
