The City of Cape Town municipality in the Western Cape, has announced that the MyCiti bus service operating hours have been extended on routes to the V&A Waterfront and Canal Walk.
The City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Rob Quintas, says the changes came into effect on Friday until December 30.
Quintas says the last bus from the V&A Waterfront will now depart at 10:15 pm and the one from Canal Walk will leave at 10:30 pm.
Peak morning and afternoon services will be less frequent from December 17 until the 5th of January next year to align with the lower demand over this period.
Reminder: We are operating later services on some routes serving Canal Walk and the V&A Waterfront so passengers can enjoy late-night holiday shopping and entertainment. More info: #MyCiTiAlert pic.twitter.com/dw4T06vopz
