The cross-examination of Lukhanyo Calata has wrapped up in the Gqeberha High Court, where the inquest into the deaths of the Cradock Four continues.
The process seeks to establish who was responsible for the 1985 abduction and murder of anti-Apartheid activists Matthew Goniwe, Fort Calata, Sicelo Mhlauli and Sparrow Mkonto.

During cross-examination, Advocate Jaap Cilliers representing three former Apartheid-era police officers questioned Calata on the relevance of his testimony, given that he was only three years old at the time of the killings.
