Several people, including schoolchildren, were injured when the bus they were travelling in overturned at Reservoir Hills in Durban. The emergency services are encouraging motorists to use alternative routes.
Garrith Jamieson is the spokesperson of the private ambulance services attending the scene.
“Approximately 15 to 20 people including children have been injured in this collision. The accident is in the reservoir hills area west of Durban. The entire roadway is closed and will be closed for some time. Once the medical personnel have treated and transported the injured to hospital, the recovery operation will start. I would advise all motorists to avoid this area at all costs.”
