Former Bulls’ coach Jake White
Following a thorough end-of-season review, the Bulls and their Director of Rugby Jake White have mutually agreed to part ways effective immediately.
White arrived at Loftus Versfeld in 2020 and made an immediate impact. Under his guidance, the Bulls secured back-to-back championships in Super Rugby Unlocked and the Currie Cup title that same season.
His tenure also saw the Bulls reach three United Rugby Championship Grand Finals, while they also made knockout appearances in both the European Champions Cup and Challenge Cup tournaments.
Having consulted with the shareholders, White said his decision to stand down was based on the players’ desire to find a new coach.
The 2007 World Cup winning coach hopes to move on to greener pastures.
