The Bulls have claimed the provincial bragging rights for Gauteng when they beat the Lions 35-22 in the Jukskei derby in round 10 of the United Rugby Championship at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
The Bulls outscored the Lions four tries to two for the bonus point
The Pretoria side did however lose the Springbok duo of Ruan Nortje and Elrigh Louw to bad injuries.
At half-time the Lions led the Bulls by 11 points to 10.
