BOSA leader Mmusi Maimane addressing attendees at the party’s first anniversary celebrations.
The leader of Build One South Africa (BOSA), Mmusi Maimane says government should roll out computer and coding programs for young people, in order to overcome youth unemployment. He was speaking at his party’s Youth Day rally in Sebaeng outside Mankweng in Limpopo.
“For young people, I think today is a reminder that for many of them educational opportunities are something that we need to fight for today. When you are in rural areas the quality of education you find is often poor, it’s not comparative, or competitive, so I’m here to say BOSA, let’s put robotics, let’s put computer labs in school so that our young people are not limited by geography. They can be citizens of the world by being on the internet and be able to compete.”
