BMA officials arresting illegal immigrants
Two illegal immigrants crossing from Zimbabwe into South Africa have been apprehended by Border Management Authority (BMA) officials near the borderline at the Beitbridge Border Post.
BMA officers used drones to trace the two individuals, who were facilitating the illegal movement of undocumented foreign nationals in the bush, between the border fence and the port of entry.
There have so far been several other arrests of undocumented foreign nationals across various ports of entry in the last 24 hours.
As part of the on-the-ground operation, the @TheBMA_SA continued with its exit leg of the 2025/2026 festive season at the Beitbridge Port of Entry. This was a joint operation between @TheBMA_SA , @SAPoliceService and @SANDF_ZA.
