The Blitzboks will face New Zealand in the semi-finals of the Sevens World Championship in Los Angeles late this Sunday.
The Springbok Sevens finished unbeaten in Pool A after defeating Olympic champions France 19-10, League champions Argentina 29-21, and Great Britain 12-7.
Argentina will take on Spain in the first semi-final of the event, followed by the Blitzboks’ match against the Kiwis at 22:45 South African time.
The Bok Women, meanwhile, are still in the running for the semi-finals of the play-off tournament after mixed success on day one.
A win over Argentina later on Sunday, kick-off at 19:00, will secure their place in the top four.
