It’s been a big day for Banyana Banyana’s star player and stalwart, Noko Matlou. The first South African to win the Women’s CAF African Player of the Year, was the captain of the day against Malawi as Banyana are continuing with their preparations for this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The Desiree Ellis-led side defeated Malawi by three unanswered goals at the UJ stadium in Soweto on Saturday afternoon.
