The bail application of a police officer who allegedly kidnapped 19-year-old Kamogelo Baukudi has been postponed to June 24.
This is to allow for the conclusion of the identification parade.
The police officer made an appearance at the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court today.
The grade eleven learner at a Bloemfontein school for children with special needs was on his way home from school on Thursday last week when two men posing as police officers took him.
Extortion was added to the charges.
It was previously revealed that the suspects had called Baukudi’s mother to demand a ransom.
