One of the three men accused of the murder of five-year-old Ditebogo Phalane has been denied bail by the Pretoria North Magistrates’ Court.
Elia Maeka and two others are accused of fatally shooting Phalane junior whilst they hijacked his father’s bakkie at their home in Soshanguve, north of Pretoria in May last year.
The little boy allegedly ran out to greet his father as he arrived home when he was fatally wounded during the hijacking.– Reporting by Tshepo Phagane and Patricia Visagie.
