The late Executive protection officer at the University of Fort Hare, Mboneli Vesele
Eastern Cape police have issued warrants of arrest for three suspects linked to the murder of the bodyguard of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Fort Hare.
Mboneli Vesele was killed while sitting in his vehicle outside the Vice-Chancellor’s residence last year.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says the suspects are believed to be hiding in the Eastern Cape or KwaZulu-Natal.
Mathe says, “We believe these three suspects do have answers as to the motive and the reasons why and who exactly killed Mr. Vesele. So we are requesting them to hand themselves over to their nearest police station. If anyone has seen them do contact the investigating officer.”
