Police have launched a manhunt for suspects who robbed the tribal office in Limpopo
Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt for six armed robbers who stole from the traditional authority offices at Makuya outside Musina.
Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says one of the robbers attacked a security guard, pinning him to the ground before gaining access to the premises.
Ledwaba says that the other robbers joined him and later ransacked the offices. The robbers have stolen three air conditioners, two solar batteries and an inverter.
“The suspects ransacked offices in the premises and took three air conditioners, two solar batteries, one inverter, one generator, six copper rolls, and five cellphones, all with a total value of R234 000. A manhunt for the suspects has been intensified, and anyone with information that can assist with the investigation is requested to contact the police.”
