African National Congress (ANC) Secretary General Fikile Mbalula, says that the party is ready for its National General Council(NGC)- which kicks off on Monday in Boksburg, East of Johannesburg.
The four-day summit is tipped as a forum at which the party will review its performance as well as those of its leaders. Addressing the media, ahead of the NGC- Mbalula also said that the ANC’s fifth NGC will stick to the party’s theme of renewal and staying in touch with communities.
“This National General Council sits at the center of the movement’s renewal project. It comes at a time when the ANC has taken bold steps to restore its integrity, rebuild organisational capacity, and reconnect with communities. The renewal agenda is producing measurable outcomes, stabilised governance, improved performance in key institutions, and enhanced economic confidence.”
