ANC North West wraps up Provincial General Council in Potchefstroom


The ANC in North West will wrap up its two-day Provincial General Council in Potchefstroom today (November 30). Delegates from all four regions of the province are attending the gathering. The performance of the Provincial Executive Committee, governance challenges, and the state of government came under sharp focus on the first day of the Provincial General Council yesterday.

“The conference made an assessment in terms of our governance structures, local government, provincial government, and our state-owned entities. the national chairperson, Comrade Gwede Mantashe, also presented a national general council-based document as we prepare for the national general council, which will be convened in Gauteng next week. On Sunday, we will be receiving reports from different commissions, which were set yesterday,” says the party’s provincial spokesperson, Tumelo Maruping.
