Dikeledi Magadzi
The African National Congress(ANC) says the death of former MP and Deputy Minister Dikeledi Magadzi marks the loss of a trusted organiser and public servant.
The party has highlighted her years of leadership at the highest levels of the ANC and government, saying she approached every role with a deep sense of duty and commitment.
Magadzi was a member of Parliament from 2014 to 2023.
She served the government in positions including as Limpopo Agriculture MEC, as well as Deputy Minister for Transport and later Water and Sanitation.
ANC National spokesperson Mahlengi Bhengu says, “Committed leader and a seasoned cadre of the ANC who served the movement and the democratic state with a dedication and discipline, having previously served as a member of the National Executive Committee of the ANC and as a deputy minister, bringing a strong sense of public service and revolutionary commitment to every responsibility entrusted to her. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, including her children and grandchildren.”
