The official draw for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025 was conducted Friday morning in the Chilean capital, Santiago.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from the 27th of September to the 19th of October, with matches hosted across various cities in Chile.
24 teams will compete in the competition, divided into six groups of four teams each.
The top two teams from each group, along with the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the Round of 16.
Africa will be represented by four national teams: Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa.
Amajita have been drawn in Group E and will face the US, New Caledonia and France.
Morocco face a daunting challenge in the “Group of Death” alongside tournament heavyweights Brazil, Spain and Mexico.
Ghana are the only African nation to win the title, defeating Brazil in the 2009 final.
