AKA, Tibz murder trial postponed to July 24

The case of five men accused of the murder of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, has been adjourned to the 24th of July.

The state says it needs to deal with certain issues with the defence; however,  the issues have not been disclosed.

Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, Lindani and Lindokuhle Ndimande (who are related), Eddie Myeza, and Mziwethemba Gwabeni are facing charges which include murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, unlawful possession of firearms, and money laundering.

AKA and his celebrity chef friend were gunned down outside a restaurant in Durban two years ago.
