The five accused of murdering rapper AKA and his chef friend Tibz appear before the Durban High Court on 12 June 2025.
The case of five men accused of the murder of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, has been adjourned to the 24th of July.
The state says it needs to deal with certain issues with the defence; however, the issues have not been disclosed.
The AKA’ pre-trial conference has been adjourned to the 24th July. This is to allow the state to engage with the defense on certain matters – not disclosed to the court. #sabcnews

Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, Lindani and Lindokuhle Ndimande (who are related), Eddie Myeza, and Mziwethemba Gwabeni are facing charges which include murder, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder, unlawful possession of firearms, and money laundering.
AKA and his celebrity chef friend were gunned down outside a restaurant in Durban two years ago.
