An Airlink aircraft.
Airlink has announced that it has suspended its daily flights between Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport and Maseru, Lesotho.
It says this is due to what it describes as a lack of serviceable fire and rescue equipment at Moshoeshoe International Airport.
It says normal services will only resume once the airport operator at Moshoeshoe International Airport has restored the regulated emergency response capabilities.
The airline has advised customers who are due to travel to check with Airlink or their travel agents on the status of their flights from Thursday.
