Airlink has issued a statement indicating its daily flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Maputo in Mozambique have been disrupted due to the civil unrest in Mozambique.
Customer Notice | 24 December 2024 – Airlink regrets to announce disruptions to some of its daily services from Johannesburg and Cape Town to Maputo in Mozambique due to the current civil unrest in that country.

Two of its early morning flights were cancelled and subsequently combined.
Airlink says all passengers we placed on a later morning flight.
While Cape Town-bound passengers were re-routed via Johannesburg.
The airline says it’s closely monitoring developments in Mozambique, particularly Maputo and says it will resume its normal services as soon as the situation has normalized in that country.
