ActionSA launches Tshwane Mayor’s Performance Tracker

ActionSA has launched the Tshwane Mayor’s Performance Tracker to monitor service delivery in the City.

ActionSA is in a multi-party coalition and its councillor Nasiphi Moya is the City’s executive mayor.

The Performance Tracker is available on the party’s website and tracks real-time performance across all wards, including turnaround times, unresolved issues and backlogs.

Speaking at a media briefing in Pretoria, ActionSA President Herman Mashaba says the initiative is aimed at strengthening accountability and transparency.

“We are demonstrating how governments should operate with transparency and accountability. True to ActionSA’s commitment to putting people first, we have introduced a new model of public accountability. In Parliament, our MPs report quarterly on their work directly to the public. Today, we uphold that same principle by providing residents of Tshwane with clear, measurable indicators of progress, they can freely and easily access themselves on our website,” says Mashaba.
