ActionSA calls on President Ramaphosa to fire Minister Tolashe

ActionSA MP Dereleen James is calling on President Cyril Ramaphosa to fire the Minister of Social Development Nokuzola Tolashe.

James has laid a criminal complaint against Tolashe at the Cape Town Central Police Station.

She claims that Tolashe has misled Parliament for failing to declare two luxury vehicles registered under her two children.

Furthermore, James says she will be laying another complaint in Parliament before the Joint Committee on Ethics and Members’ Interests.

She alleges that even President Ramaphosa was made aware about the non-disclosure of the two vehicles.

“Now what raises suspicions here is the fact that the minister did not declare any of these vehicles. If indeed it is under the ANC, we actually have a print-out here this morning, list of donations and contributions for the fourth quarter. So, there is no indication. It has not been registered all over. The minister has a lot to answer. We call on the president to fire the minister. We are also going to take this matter with the ethics committee. We going to lodge a complaint there as well.”
