ACSA Board orders forensic probe into procurement irregularities

The Board of the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has launched a forensic investigation into alleged procurement irregularities.

An independent firm will be appointed to conduct the probe, while the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA) has been requested to review the matter.

The Airports Company says the decision comes amid reports of suspected irregularities in appointing independent bid evaluators and additional resources for ACSA’s Supply Chain Management Department.
