ACM will win over Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality: Motsoeneng

The president of the African Content Movement (ACM), Hlaudi Motsoeneng, says his party is poised to take over the Maluti-a-Phofung Municipality in the Free State in this year’s local government elections.

Currently, with only two seats in the 70 seats at the Maluti-a-Phofung council, Motsoeneng vows to increase this number.

The party has officially kicked off its campaign ahead of the polls.

He says his party will focus on improving service delivery.

Motsoeneng told party members that the electricity infrastructure in Maluti-a-Phofung has to be built from scratch.

“We are ready to take over this municipality and give our people the service they deserve. The ANC is over. They have messed up QwaQwa and ACM is hoping to fix it.”

Meanwhile, Motsoeneng, says unemployment has driven many young people into substance abuse.

He also has also raised concerns about water shortages and power cuts in the area.
