Accused number two in the Senzo Meyiwa trial says he was continuously assaulted by the police, as they were forcing him to sign documents pinning him to the murder of the Bafana Bafana captain.
Ntanzi was on the stand at the High Court in Pretoria where is appearing alongside four of his co-accused.
The five men have been charged with the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain.
Ntanzi described the alleged assault that allegedly led to him signing one of the confession statements before court.
“ They would also ask me, my lord, am I still not willing or prepared to tell the truth to a senior police officer? I would tell him that I know nothing. When the assault stopped, my lord, it was when I was asked to sign. I then signed where I was being told to ask to sign. Now, there’s a plus, I was provided with a pen to sign.”
