Accused in Meyiwa murder Sibiya demonstrates alleged police assault


Accused one in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial Muzi Sibiya has been demonstrating to the court how he was allegedly assaulted by the police.

All the legal representatives of the accused, the prosecution and Presiding Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng are at a municipal property in Ekurhuleni where the incident allegedly took place.

The in loco inspection was requested by Sibiya’s lawyer advocate Charles Mnisi.

Sibiya and his four co-accused are also present.

They are charged with the 2014 murder of the Bafana Bafana captain.

Meyiwa was shot and killed at Kelly Khumalo’s mother’s house in Vosloorus on Gauteng’s East Rand.
