A solitary confinement cell in a prison
The High Court in Pretoria has ruled that accused number three in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial should be released from solitary confinement.
Mthobisi Mncube and accused number five, Fisokuhle Ntuli, made an urgent application complaining about the prison conditions at C-Max Kgosi Mampuru Prison, stating that they infringe on their human rights and mental wellbeing.
Mncube has been in solitary confinement for the past four years.
