The Madlanga Commission of Inquiry is expected to conclude the week with a new witness who will testify on alleged corruption in the City of Tshwane.
Allegations of corruption related to a multi-million-rand tender have been brought against the City.
Three security companies are at the centre of the corruption allegations.
The Madlanga Commission has heard how security company Gubis85 Solutions, which has been implicated in alleged tender rigging, was paid the lion’s share of the multi-million-rand Tshwane Security tender.
Evidence before the Commission has also revealed that Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, who is not employed at the City, intervened in a payment dispute with Gubis85.
It has also emerged that Triotic Services, which was one of the security companies appointed to provide guarding services, was linked to ANC Tshwane regional chairperson, Eugene Modise.
