NSDF calls for total shutdown in Bloemfontein

The National Service Delivery Forum (NSDF) called for a total shutdown in Bloemfontein in the Free State and surrounding areas from this Monday.

NSDF chairperson Potso Motoko says they want national intervention and the temporary appointment of an administrator at the Mangaung municipality.

Motoko says the march is aimed at defending the constitutional rights of residents.

He says they want accountable governance and urgent intervention in the affairs of the Mangaung Metro.

He adds that stakeholders took a resolution for the shutdown in Mangaung because authorities did not respond to petitions and memorandums.
