Police are searching for toddler Omphile Sithole.
Limpopo police and the family of a missing two-year old baby girl, Omphile Sithole, say the search is still continuing.
Omphile mysteriously disappeared from the house in which she and her grandmother were sleeping in at Ga-Mabuela village outside Mokopane on 2 May.
The paternal grandparents were charged with child neglect and remanded in custody by the Mahwelereng Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Omphile’s father, Khutso Mabuela, says he is hopeful that the police will have new developments regarding his daughter.
“Since we came back from court yesterday, I thought maybe they would update us today with new developments regarding the search. But the situation is still the same as it has been over the past few days. I don’t know, maybe later they will update us if there are any new developments. But for now, I have not heard anything from the police.”
