President Cyril Ramaphosa has urged the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) to ensure that the “Taking parliament to the people” programme delivers tangible results for communities. He was speaking during the last leg of the programme on Friday in Stilfontein, North West.

“Let us ensure that, “Taking parliament to the people” does not end here, we must take our people’s concerns back to our offices, our legislatures and our councils. However, what is most important is that we act, so that when the next session of the programme arrives, we are able to show what we have done.”
