Ramaphosa invites investors to partner with govt help shape SA future

President Cyril Ramaphosa has invited investors to be partners with government in shaping the country’s future.

Delivering the keynote address at the South Africa Infrastructure Investment Summit underway in Cape Town,  Ramaphosa assured investors that South Africa’s reform agenda is firmly embedded and will continue regardless of future political leadership.

He says while the country has started showing signs of recovery, this has yet to translate into a meaningful rise in employment.

“Job creation is our principal challenge, as many South Africans are currently unemployed. So we focus on how we can create more jobs for South Africans. So infrastructure, therefore, becomes an important ingredient or enabler in that regard,” adds Ramaphosa.
