The African National Congress (ANC) will hold its special National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Cape Town later on Wednesday.
The party’s officials will brief the NEC following the Constitutional Court judgment on the Phala Phala matter.
Last Friday, the apex court ruled that Parliament was wrong to reject the panel report, which found that President Cyril Ramaphosa may have a case to answer regarding the theft of US dollars at his farm in 2020.
President Ramaphosa has announced that he is taking the report under review.
After Wednesday’s meeting, the ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula is expected to brief the party’s caucus in Parliament on Thursday.
