Tshukudu Malatji returns to the stand at Madlanga Commission

Suspended Director for Asset Protection at the Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD), Tshukudu Malatji, returns to the stand at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Thursday morning.

The commission continues with evidence from the City of Tshwane, where various top officials have been implicated in alleged tender manipulation.

The tender relates to a multi-million-rand security contract for Ad-Hoc security services.

Malatji is expected to continue his testimony at the Madlanga Commission, relating to a multi-million-rand tender at the City of Tshwane.

The commission has previously heard that Malatji failed to comply with an instruction to halt Ad Hoc security services in the city, resulting in expenditure of approximately R14 million.

The TMPD multi-million-rand tender remains under scrutiny, with three companies of particular interest, namely Gubis85 Solutions, Ngaphesheya Security, and Triotic Protection Services.
