Runners during the Two Oceans Marathon.
Thousands of runners are participating in the Two Oceans Half Marathon in Cape Town this Sunday morning.
The 21-kilometre route in the Southern Suburbs of the city will close the annual marathon week.
The Two Oceans Marathon week, which runs over five days, attracts more than 30 000 athletes to the Mother City.
Scores of runners embarked on the 56-kilometre Ultra Marathon on Saturday.
Various roads, such as the Newlands Main Road, M3 Southbound, Paradise Road, Ladies Mile Extension and Rhodes Avenue have been closed.
