Triotic Protection Services Security under investigation

Tshwane Metro Police Chief, Yolande Faro, has told the Madlanga Commission that the department is investigating Triotic Protection Services Security company, which is believed to be linked to City of Tshwane officials.

Triotic Protection Services is one of three companies implicated in allegations of corruption pertaining to a security tender in the City of Tshwane.

Other security companies include Gubis 85 Solution and Izingwenya 210 Investments.

Faro told the Commission that investigations are probing the ownership of security companies providing services to the City.

“Obviously, we are looking into all of that. Because, as you said, I’ve read in the supply chain management policy when I started, and it says you must not. One of them says that you must not, conflict of interest must be…[investigated]. So we’re taking the supply chain management policy and see if there was any contravention also from the side.”
