The Free State Road Incident Management System has issued a warning to road users to drive carefully on the N6 between Reddersburg and Smithfield because of poor visibility.
RIMS chairperson Sipho Towa says heavy rain is being experienced along parts of the road. Towa has advised motorists to switch on their car lights to reduce speed and increase following distances.
For emergency assistance road users can report incidents or flooding to Free State RIMS WhatsApp on +27 66 444 4164 or national emergency number 112 to provide location pin, picture and description.
