People are reported to be panic-buying as fuel price
Some filling stations are still without fuel in parts of Gauteng. In east of Pretoria, motorists have been turned away after some filling stations ran out of fuel.
Ahead of the fuel price increase this week, many fuel stations experience shortages due to panic-buying and hoarding.
Petrol has increased by over R3 while diesel increased by more than R7 per litre, from the 1st of this month.

Motorists expressed their frustrations after being turned away while trying to fill up their vehicles saying this is inconveniencing them as they have to drive from one fuel station to another.
