Sibiya denies instructing Witness F to share a warrant with Matlala

Suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner for Crime Detection, Lieutenant-General Shadrack Sibiya, returns to the Madlanga Commission this Tuesday morning to continue with his testimony.

Sibiya has denied instructing Witness F to share a warrant of arrest with attempted murder accused Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala.

The warrant was for the arrest of controversial blogger Musa Khawula.

General Sibiya’s alleged close relationship with Matlala has been the subject of cross-examination at the Madlanga Commission.

Witness F’s testimony states that the arrest warrant for Khawula would be effected by Matlala Security Services.

He also testified that Matlala knew where to find Khawula because they both frequented the same places.

When Sibiya was probed about what these places are, he referred to them as “after 9” clubs.

The cross-examination resumes at 9:30am.
