Female suspect in e-hailing driver murder expected in Court on Monday

A woman arrested in connection with the killing of an e-hailing driver in Pretoria West is expected to appear in the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

She faces charges of hijacking and murder. Police say preliminary investigations suggest that the victim was murdered by a male and a female who requested the service of an e-hailing vehicle last Wednesday.

They say the hijacked vehicle and the driver’s body were later found in Atteridgeville.

Gauteng SAPS Spokesperson, Colonel Mavela Masondo, says more arrests are imminent.
