Private investigator Paul O’Sullivan will appear before Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee, which is investigating national security concerns.
On Tuesday, he threatened to withdraw his cooperation with the committee. He has been called to answer allegations that he infiltrated the criminal justice system at various levels, among others.
However, some MPs have criticised the first day of O’Sullivan’s appearance before the committee as too tedious and not clarifying any of the allegations.
O’Sullivan did not have a positive reaction to that. “Am I to understand that instead of giving evidence, I am called here to be interrogated because of allegations made against me by criminals? If so, I will withdraw my cooperation I won’t assist in a kangaroo court.”
